Compassionate Online Therapy That Fits Around Family Life

Anna Patel providing online child and teen therapy via Zoom

Hello, I’m Anna Patel, an Integrative Child and Adolescent Psychotherapist with over 20 years’ experience supporting children, teenagers and families.

I provide online therapy via Zoom for young people aged 10 years and over, creating a calm, supportive, confidential, safe, holding space where they can begin to understand their emotions, develop confidence and find healthier ways of coping.

Every child is different.

That’s why I tailor therapy to the individual rather than using a one-size-fits-all approach.

My aim is always to help young people feel heard, understood and accepted without pressure or judgement.

Does Any Of This Sound Familiar?

Your child may be:

💛 Feeling anxious or worrying constantly

💛 Finding school increasingly difficult

💛 Struggling with friendships

💛 Becoming withdrawn or unusually quiet

💛 Finding change difficult to manage

💛 Showing signs of OCD or repetitive worries

💛 Lacking confidence

💛 Feeling overwhelmed by emotions

If you’re reading this and thinking,

“This sounds like my child,”

please know you’re not alone.

Many families seek support long before things reach crisis point, and early intervention can make a meaningful difference.

What To Expect

Starting therapy can feel like a big step.

Many parents tell me they worry about whether their child will engage or know what to say.

There is no pressure.

Every therapeutic relationship develops at its own pace.

Some young people find it easy to talk.

Others prefer to take things more slowly.

Together we’ll create a safe environment where your child can explore their thoughts and feelings in a way that feels comfortable for them.

Areas Of Support

I regularly support young people experiencing:

• Anxiety

• OCD and depression

• School anxiety and emotionally based school avoidance

• Low mood

• Emotional regulation

• Friendship difficulties

• Self-esteem and confidence

• Life transitions and change

• Parent support and guidance

Kind Words From a Family I Help

“Anna created a safe space where our child slowly began to open up and feel understood without pressure or judgement. As parents, we also learnt how to better support them at home.”

Every family’s journey is unique, and I feel privileged to support children, teenagers and parents through some of life’s most challenging moments.
