My therapy approach

I am a member of Child Psychotherapy Council [CPC] and a full clinical member of the UKCP, working within the mental health field for over 20 years. I have worked in state schools of all ages and areas in London, including Pupil referral units [PRUs], Mind in Barnet, Family Lives organisation, CAMHS- Harrow, Barnet and Havering [NHS]. Currently, work is conducted from a small private practice in North London, with roles including clinical supervisor and tutor for Parent and Infant Observation module at Terapia.
I am deeply passionate about providing therapeutic support to children and adolescents, empowering them navigate the complexities of emotional and psychological challenges.
I understand that the journey through childhood and adolescence can be both exciting and overwhelming, filled with unique developmental milestones, social pressures, and emotional hurdles. My commitment is to create a safe, holding and nurturing environment where children and young individuals can express themselves freely, explore their feelings, and develop coping strategies tailored to their unique needs and experiences, helping them in their journey of discovery and transformation.
I work in a collaborative, explorative and holistic way, drawing on integrative approaches, such as, Psychodynamic, Humanistic, Gestalt, Neuroscience, Psychoanalytic, Art and Pay therapy, Mindfulness, CBT, DBT and Solution Focus Therapy.
I adhere to ethical guidelines and legal regulations governing the practice of Child and Adolescent Psychotherapy. I am committed to confidentiality, informed consent, and maintaining professional boundaries in my therapeutic work.
